Tis’ the season to be jolly, and with that comes a fine selection of festive events. Here are three you may want to check out in the first week of December.
There will be a whole host of festivities over the coming weeks so do be sure to check back for the latest events that are being run in the area.
St George’s Christmas Fair
St George’s are having a Christmas fair on Friday 1st December at 7 Chilston Road, Tunbridge Wells. The fair will be run throughout the afternoon with a Father Christmas, mince pies, lovely mulled wine to warm your cockles, a tombola and much more. There will be festive stalls to visit and a raffle drawn at around 5:30 pm in the early evening.
St George’s are raising money to help St George’s and will go towards improving the garden and purchasing new equipment and also toys for the centre.

Matfield Village Hall Christmas Fayre
Matfield Village Hall is having their Christmas Fayre on Saturday 2nd December at The Green, Matfield, Tonbridge. Matfield is a particularly scenic part of the county and is a tranquil and pleasant place to visit.
Between 1-3:30 pm live Christmas music will be playing and you can wander around the stalls to view and indulge in homemade mince pies, chutneys, and other goodies and purchase traditional Christmas decorations. There will, of course, be a Father Christmas for the children to visit.

Held on the first and third weekend of each month, the famous Pantiles market is always worth a visit. With a wide selection of hot and cold local foods, exquisite crafts, toys, gifts and even clothing, the Pantiles market is definitely worth a visit before Christmas.
The market opens from 10 am to 4 pm for the first weekend of Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd of December and is located on The Pantiles, Royal Tunbridge Wells.
There are several car parks close by. However, we would certainly advise arriving early to make sure you can get a space and avoid a long walk to get to the market.
